Terms and Conditions
1. General Terms
By making a booking at Riad Clou, guests agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These policies are intended to ensure that all guests have a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable stay. Any violation of these terms may result in additional charges or the cancellation of the reservation without a refund.
2. Booking and Payment
- A reservation is confirmed when a deposit of 30% of the total booking amount has been received.
- The remaining balance is due upon arrival or prior to check-in.
- We accept payment via credit card (Visa, MasterCard), bank transfer, or cash. Additional fees may apply for specific payment methods.
- In the event of a failed payment or invalid payment method, the reservation may be canceled.
- All prices are quoted in EU and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
3. Cancellation Policy
- For standard bookings:
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before check-in are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made between 7 and 13 days before check-in will incur a fee of 50% of the total booking cost.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in, or failure to arrive, will result in no refund of the booking amount.
- If the booking is made through third-party platforms (such as Booking.com or Airbnb), their specific cancellation policies may apply.
- For non-refundable bookings:
- All payments are final. No refunds or date changes are allowed under any circumstances.
4. Modifications to Reservations
- Date changes or modifications to your reservation are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- Requests to change a booking must be made at least 7 days before check-in.
- Shortening the length of stay may result in penalties or partial refunds depending on the terms of the original booking.
5. Check-in and Check-out
- Check-in is from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Early check-in is subject to availability and must be arranged in advance. Additional fees may apply for early check-in.
- Check-out time is 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability. A late check-out fee will apply if approved.
- Guests who do not vacate the premises by the designated check-out time will incur additional charges.
6. Occupancy
- Each apartment has a specified maximum occupancy, which must not be exceeded. Failure to adhere to this limit may result in the cancellation of the booking without a refund.
- Additional guests not listed at the time of booking may not be permitted without prior notice and approval. Extra charges may apply for additional guests.
7. Housekeeping
- Housekeeping services are available upon request for an additional fee.
- Kitchens in the apartments are fully equipped for guest use. Guests are expected to leave the kitchen clean and tidy after use. Failure to do so may result in a cleaning fee.
8. Amenities and Services
- Riad Clou provides basic amenities, including soap, for your initial set-up upon arrival. Additional items can be purchased or restocked at the guest's request for an extra fee.
- Access to a washing machine is available in the common area for guests. Please use responsibly and follow the posted guidelines.
- Wi-Fi is complimentary and available throughout the property. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or fault-free internet service.
9. Smoking Policy
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartments and common areas. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
- Violation of this policy will result in a €100cleaning fee, and further legal action may be taken if the violation causes significant damage.
10. Damage and Liability
- Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, furniture, or fixtures caused during their stay, whether by their actions or the actions of accompanying persons. Damage must be reported immediately to Riad Clou management.
- A damage deposit may be required upon check-in, refundable after inspection at check-out if no damage has occurred.
- Riad Clou is not responsible for any personal injury or loss/damage to personal belongings during the guest’s stay. Guests are advised to secure their valuables in the provided in-room safes.
11. Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During this time, guests are expected to keep noise levels to a minimum in order to respect the comfort of other guests.
12. Pets
- Pets are not permitted at Riad Clou. Exceptions may be made for service animals, which must be arranged in advance.
13. Force Majeure
- Riad Clou is not liable for any failure to provide services or delays due to causes beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, guests may be eligible for a partial refund or the opportunity to reschedule their stay.
14. Termination of Stay
- Riad Clou reserves the right to terminate a guest's stay without a refund if these terms and conditions are violated, or if the guest's behavior is disruptive, illegal, or endangers the safety of others.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
- These terms and conditions are governed by Moroccan law, and any disputes arising from a stay at Riad Clou will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Moroccan courts.
16. Privacy Policy
- Riad Clou respects the privacy of its guests and ensures that personal information provided during the booking process is protected. Guest information will only be used for communication related to the stay and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
